Ü
Ü is a project born in 2021 out of the partnership of percussionists Thomas Canna and Filippo Abrate and musicians Giovanni Falascone (piano, live electronics) and Alessandro Luppi (clarinets, alto saxophone). The line-up is oriented towards a rhythmic/timbral research within which, starting from common backgrounds such as jazz, electroacoustic, ethnic, contemporary and experimental music, they investigate a ritual and evocative dimension in which to build a performance, a research space poised between compositional intent and pure improvisation.
